The Suez Canal Authority has extended a 15% exemption on the new transit fee increase for container ships (loaded or empty) traveling from Northwest European ports, including Tangier and Algeciras, to Port Klang and beyond to Southeast Asia and the Far East. This exemption is valid until June 30, 2025. Additionally, discounts for ships operating between the East Coast of the Americas, the U.S. Gulf, and South/Southeast Asia will continue until mid-2025.
