CMA CGM Raises Shipping Rates from India, Gulf, Red Sea, and Egypt to U.S

CMA CGM has announced an increase in container shipping rates from India, the Gulf, the Red Sea, and Egypt to the United States. The new rates will take effect from December 5 until further notice. These updated rates apply to containers originating from the Indian subcontinent, the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, and Egypt, and heading to the U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast, bringing the cost per container to $1,500.

Additionally, CMA CGM has raised shipping rates for containers from Central America and the Caribbean to Europe and the Mediterranean, including Egyptian ports in the Mediterranean. This change will be effective from December 7 until further notice.
