Starting July 1, 2025, CMA CGM will implement Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) on several trade lanes:
- From Northern Europe and the Mediterranean to the West Coast of South and Central America and the Caribbean:
- €200 per container.
- From Mediterranean ports (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal) to the East Coast of Canada:
- $250 per 20’ container
- $250 per 20’ container
- $500 per 40’-45’ container
In addition, CMA CGM will adjust FAK (Freight All Kinds) rates from Asia to the Mediterranean and North Africa, effective June 15–30, 2025:
- Asia → Western Mediterranean:
- $4,200 per 20’ | $6,000 per 40’
- $4,200 per 20’ | $6,000 per 40’
- Asia → Eastern Mediterranean & Black Sea:
- $4,400 per 20’ | $6,200 per 40’
- $4,400 per 20’ | $6,200 per 40’
- Asia → North Africa:
- $4,900 per 20’ | $8,100 per 40’
- $4,900 per 20’ | $8,100 per 40’
These changes reflect ongoing market dynamics and seasonal demand. Shippers are encouraged to review their logistics plans accordingly.
