Maersk Resumed Shipments to Haifa After Temporary Suspension

Maersk has resumed receiving import cargo at Haifa Port as of June 25, 2025, following a temporary suspension implemented earlier this month due to regional security concerns. The pause in operations was triggered by heightened tensions in the Middle East and risks

The suspension was enacted as a precaution to protect the safety of crew members, vessels, and customer cargo. With a recent reassessment indicating improved conditions, Maersk is now preparing to restart export shipments from Haifa once security risks have further subsided. During the disruption, port operations in Ashdod remained fully operational, and alternative arrangements were made to support affected shipments.
