CMA CGM Launches Multimodal Services via October Dry Port

CMA CGM has announced the launch of its multimodal transport services in Egypt through the October Dry Port, now positioned as a smart logistics hub connecting Greater Cairo with key industrial zones in Upper Egypt. This new link supports faster, more efficient, and sustainable cargo movement, offering direct access to 17 global trade routes covering Asia, Europe, and the United States. The service includes a scheduled train operating twice a week between Alexandria and Cairo, with a one-day transit time, in addition to rail connections to Ain Sokhna, Port Said, and Damietta. The port also offers smooth, congestion-free customs clearance and is equipped to handle all types of cargo.
