This initiative forms part of Egypt’s broader strategy to expand maritime connectivity and strengthen the role of Egyptian ports in regional and international trade.
In parallel, Alexandria Port will begin offering regular shipping services to several Black Sea ports, further reinforcing trade ties with countries in the region.
Additionally, EGYMAR is set to launch a dedicated grape export service from Alexandria to the ports of Koper (Slovenia), Venice, and Ravenna (Italy). Estimated transit times are as follows:
