Hapag-Lloyd has announced a General Rate Increase (GRI) for shipments from the Indian Subcontinent & Middle East to the U.S. East Coast, effective April 1, 2025. The rate adjustment applies to 20’ and 40’ Dry and Reefer containers, including High Cube equipment, with an increase of USD 500 per container.The affected regions include Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh.
