The Egyptian Customs Authority has addressed DP World regarding the operation of the company’s terminal at Sokhna Port throughout the week, including weekends, to implement a shift-based work system. This will commence on Friday, December 6. The General Director of Sokhna Customs referred in his letter which was based on the Cabinet's decision issued on November 17. The decision stipulates that all government entities involved in the customs clearance system must operate without interruption, including during weekends, to ensure the continuity of services and expedite cargo clearance.
