The Saudi Ministry of Commerce has issued a decision imposing final anti-dumping duties on imports of ductile iron pipes and tubes originating in or exported from India, used in water, sewage, irrigation and firefighting networks. The duties range between 16.96% and 29.94% and took effect on 4 August 2026 for a period of five years.

The decision covers pipes with diameters from 100 to 1,000 mm under technical specifications K9 and C Class to C40, with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority responsible for collecting the duties at the rate set for each case. The decision follows an investigation opened in July 2025 based on a complaint from local industry, and results in higher customs costs for importers of this category from India, requiring a review of supply contracts and landed cost calculations for existing and future shipments.
