MSC Vessel Sariska Hit by Two Projectiles While Departing Umm Qasr Port

MSC reported that its container vessel MSC Sariska was struck by two projectiles while departing Umm Qasr Port in Iraq. The carrier said the first projectile hit the vessel while the pilot was still on board during the port departure, while the second struck the crew area approximately 40 nautical miles southeast of Umm Qasr. 

MSC confirmed that all crew members are safe with no injuries reported, and that necessary measures were taken to secure the vessel and its cargo following the incident.
