Maersk Raises Customs Administration Import Fee in Egypt from Mid-June

Maersk announced an increase in its Customs Administration Import (CAI) fee, part of the local charges applied in Egypt, effective from mid-June 2026. The fee will rise from EGP 1,000 to EGP 1,415 per bill of lading, plus 14% VAT.
