MSC Updates Freight Rates from Asia to Europe and Mediterranean from June 2026

 

MSC announced updated ocean freight rates from Far East ports, including Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and Black Sea destinations. The new rates take effect from 1 June 2026 until further notice. 

New rates by destination: 

North Europe: $2,820 per 20 ft / $4,700 per 40 ft West Med and Adriatic: $3,750 per 20ft / $5,500 per 40ft East Mediterranean: $3,800 per 20ft / $5,400 per 40ft Black Sea: $3,850 per 20ft / $5,500 per 40ft 

The update also covers several North African markets, including Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Casablanca. The adjustments reflect ongoing shifts in global shipping markets and continued supply chain pressures.
