Pacific International Lines (PIL) has announced an expansion of its Red Sea operations, enhancing connectivity between Jeddah Islamic Port and a number of regional and international ports — including Egypt's Sokhna Port.
The expansion covers two key services:
- RGS Service: Linking Jeddah with Nhava Sheva and Mundra (India), Djibouti, and Berbera — with a capacity of 1,810 TEUs
- RS2 Service: Connecting Jeddah to ports in China, Singapore, Djibouti, Sokhna, and Aqaba — with a capacity of 11,923 TEUs
This expansion reinforces the Red Sea's role as a critical corridor for regional trade and offers shippers broader routing options across South Asia, East Africa, and the Middle East.
