The shipping line ONE (Ocean Network Express) announced the launch of a new shipping service named RCS, connecting Red Sea ports with ports in China, with the aim of enhancing trade connectivity and reducing transit times between the two sides.
The new service provides direct routes linking the Chinese ports of Shanghai, Qingdao, and Nansha with Shekou Port, before calling at Jeddah, Sokhna, and Aqaba in the Red Sea region. The service will then return via Jeddah Port to Shanghai and Qingdao.
The first voyage of the new RCS service is scheduled to commence on January 15.
