The Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) has announced the signing of a joint agreement between Red Sea Gateway Terminal (the leading national container terminal operator) and the French shipping line CMA CGM to develop and operate the fourth container terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port. The project is valued at SAR 1.7 billion and will provide a handling capacity of 2.6 million TEUs.
