Key CMA CGM Updates for November

1) New Freight Rate Adjustments from the Indian Subcontinent (Effective December)

CMA CGM announced updated ocean freight rates from the Indian Subcontinent to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa, effective December.

New increases include:

These rates include base freight and BAF surcharges.

2) Launch of the New MEX1 Service Connecting Vietnam to the Mediterranean

CMA CGM has launched a new MEX1 service linking Vung Tau (Vietnam) with major Mediterranean ports via the Cape of Good Hope.
 The service will be operated through CMA CGM’s Gemalink terminal.

Rotation:
Vung Tau – Valencia – Barcelona – Malta – Fos

The first sailing will take place on the CMA CGM JULES VERNE in the coming days.

3) Updated Rates from the Mediterranean to the Indian Subcontinent (From 1 December)

CMA CGM announced updated rates to India and Pakistan effective 1 December:

West Mediterranean

East Mediterranean

The company also confirmed the continuation of its Mali service after reversing an earlier suspension.

4) Updated FAK Rates from Asia to the Mediterranean & North Africa (Mid-November)

CMA CGM updated its FAK rates from Asia as follows:
