1) New Freight Rate Adjustments from the Indian Subcontinent (Effective December)
CMA CGM announced updated ocean freight rates from the Indian Subcontinent to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa, effective December.
New increases include:

USD 1,500 per container (20FT/40FT) to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean

USD 2,500 per container (20FT/40FT) to North Africa
These rates include base freight and BAF surcharges.
2) Launch of the New MEX1 Service Connecting Vietnam to the Mediterranean
CMA CGM has launched a new MEX1 service linking Vung Tau (Vietnam) with major Mediterranean ports via the Cape of Good Hope.
The service will be operated through CMA CGM’s Gemalink terminal.
