Global Feeder Shipping (GFS), RCL, and TS LINE have announced the launch of a new direct service connecting the Far East with Red Sea ports. The service aims to provide a faster route linking major Chinese export hubs with key trade gateways in the region. Evergreen will operate slots on this service under the OGRD brand, with monthly sailings using vessels of around 3,000 TEU capacity. The rotation covers Shanghai, Qingdao, Guangzhou (Nansha), and Shenzhen (Shekou), followed by Jeddah, Sokhna, and Aqaba, before returning to Shanghai.
