CMA CGM Adjusts Ocean Freight Rates from the Indian Subcontinent to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa

CMA CGM announced a new adjustment to ocean freight rates from the Indian Subcontinent to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa, effective December. The company will increase rates for shipments from Northwest India and Pakistan by USD 1,500 per container (20 ft or 40 ft) to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean and by USD 2,500 per container to North Africa. These updated rates include the base freight and the BAF surcharge and will apply to all bookings and shipments starting in December.
