Maersk Updates Egyptian Port Tariffs for Detention, Demurrage & Storage

Maersk has announced a revised tariff structure for container detention, demurrage, and storage fees across major Egyptian ports, effective from mid-September 2025. This is the first adjustment since March 2024 and aims to accelerate the return of empty containers, ensuring smoother supply chain operations. The new tariff introduces updated free-time periods and daily charges for dry and reefer containers, varying by port and container size
