Maersk has announced an adjustment to its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for shipments from East Asia ports to North Europe and the Mediterranean, effective September 1, 2025.

*Far East Asia countries include Brunei, China, Hong Kong China, Indonesia, Japan, Cambodia, Mongolia, South Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan China, Thailand, and Vietnam
PSS is applicable to all equipment types including dry, high dry, reefer, high cube reefer, bulk, collapsible flat rack, flat rack, hive, pallet wide, open top, tank, and twin deck.
