The Saudi Ports Authority "Mawani" has announced the addition of two new shipping services at Jeddah Islamic Port, as part of its ongoing efforts to boost operational efficiency, expand maritime connectivity, and reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub:
BOS Service by BLUE OCEAN
This service connects Jeddah with three major ports in China: Qingdao, Ningbo, and Nansha, with a capacity of up to 2,300 TEUs. It supports stronger export flows and enhances trade links with Asia.
LRX Service by CMA CGM
This new route links Jeddah to four regional and international ports: Latakia (Syria), Iskenderun and Mersin (Turkey), and Beirut (Lebanon), with a capacity of 2,826 TEUs. It opens new opportunities for trade across the Eastern Mediterranean.
These services align with the goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, positioning the Kingdom as a key player in global trade and a central hub connecting three continents.
